Board Report - April 2012

The newly elected Chair of the Board, Frank Soda, welcomed everyone to the meeting. Because BAREIS MLS® staff were attending this meeting, Frank asked everyone to introduce themselves.

Board Report – February 2012

Darla Stever introduced Nancy Meyer, the new Executive Officer at Northern Solano Association of REALTORS®. The Board welcomed Nancy to the meeting.

No financial reports were presented pending current financial audit. After extensive discussion, the Board agreed to increase the annual fee charged to members of data share organizations to help recover the increased costs associated with issuing cooperative codes to those members of organizations participating in the Bay Area Cooperative Key Program.

Board Report – December 2011

The Corporation remains within budget and within income for the first eleven months of the year. Membership increased slightly to 7,631 members and 430 assistants. We do anticipate the loss of approximately 400 members when the lockbox reciprocation effort launches. There is a targeted date of January 9th to launch the lockbox reciprocal program.

Board Report September 2011 The Corporation remains within budget and within income for the first eight months of the year. Membership increased slightly for the period to 7,666 members from 7,585. There were 448 assistants, bringing the total to 8,114. When the lockbox reciprocation begins, the Finance Committee projects a decline in membership which will have a major impact on our monthly numbers.

Board Notes August, 2011

The Corporation remains within budget and within income for the first seven months of the year. Membership declined slightly for the period to 7,585 members from 7, 755. There was no change in the number of assistants, and they remained at 455. While we are still showing a projected net income, the Committee anticipates increased expenses beginning in October. It is as a result of this anticipated increase in expenses that the Board approved the upcoming increase in dues.

July 22, 2011 Board Meeting Report

The Corporation remains within budget and within income for the first six months of the year despite a slight decline in membership to 7, 755 members and 455 assistants. The upcoming fee increase will be announced in the e-newsletter on Monday July 25, 2011 as well as in the billing statement for the last quarter’s dues. The billing statement will be sent in August.
