The simplest way to put IDX listings on a site is by creating an IDX link through Rapattoni. After the link has been
created it can be e-mailed to your Web master for posting to your site. Directions for creating an IDX link on Rapattoni can be found by clicking on LINKS > MLS Links > BAREIS Forms & Lists, under the Miscellaneous
heading click on IDX Set-Up Instructions
IDX stands for Internet Data Exchange and is a cooperative Internet advertising program. To participate, brokers must opt-in by signing the IDX/Reciprocal/Cooperative Advertising agreement (click here for the form
http://www.bareis.com/private/input-forms/reciprocal-listings.html ). This permits the broker and the agents in his/her office to advertise the listings of competing brokers on their Website. In turn, by opting-in, they agree that theirlistings can also be advertised on competing brokers’ site. Only listings of brokers that have agreed to participate in the plan may be displayed on IDX Internet sites. Agents may not participate unless the broker has signed a written
agreement to participate.
