Meeting of the Board of Directors March 18, 2016
2016 Directors: The results of the 2016 Board of Directors election were announced at the Annual Meeting of the Members. The following Directors were elected with terms expiring March 2018:
Sonoma County Class B Director: Lori Segraves, Century 21 Bundesen – Petaluma
Sonoma County Class A Director: Nuala Rege, Rege Real Estate Services – Petaluma
Solano County Class A Director: Richard Bortolazzo, Coldwell Banker Solano Pacific – Benicia
Solano County Class B Director: David Galligan, Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Drysdale Properties – Benicia
Marin County Class B Director: Dave Egan, Coldwell Banker – Greenbrae
Northern Solano Class B Director: Rick Ungerecht, Coldwell Banker Kappel Gateway – Vacaville
Northern Solano Class A Director: Darla Stever, Stever Realty-Stever & Associates – Fairfield
Finance Committee: The net worth of the Corporation increased slightly. The revenue and expenses year to year remain consistent. The Directors approved the following recommendations from the Budget & Audit Committee:
1. Approval of the 2015 audited financial reports;
2. Revise current policy so that any Broker reinstating BAREIS MLS® membership will pay a $50 return from leave of absence fee rather than a $300 new member fee.
3. Adopt a Reciprocal Data Co-op fee of $250 for data share members who are not members of BAREIS seeking a data feed from BAREIS MLS®.
Innovation Task Force: The task force received a demonstration of GoMLS, Homespotter, & Cloud MLX, but has not selected a specific product. The task force will conduct a side by side comparison of the top three products, Agent Inbox, Goomzee and Homespotter, at their next meeting.
RPR: BAREIS is providing data to RPR and the product should be available to California Association of REALTORS® members in May 2016.
Sold Off MLS Status: For the first month with the Sold Off MLS status, 34 comp listings were entered into BAREIS MLS®, compared to 15 for the same period last year.
Rapattoni Updates: During the annual membership meeting, Rapattoni provided a demonstration of the features and enhancements that will be released within the next 6 months including scheduled auto prospecting, a native MLS App, an enhanced map search, and a revised consumer facing display.
Statistics: A licensing agreement has been signed that will allow California Association of REALTORS® to pull data directly from BAREIS MLS® for California Association of REALTORS®’ market statistic reports, and will allow BAREIS MLS® to display California Association of REALTORS® statistics.
