Reciprocal Listing Program

Through the California Master MLS Reciprocal Agreement, listings that are not within BAREIS service region may be entered into a cooperating MLS for a fee. This enables brokers and agents to market their listings in areas outside of BAREIS service region.

Not all MLS's participate in the California Master MLS Reciprocal Agreement. BAREIS involvement in the program only allows a listing to be loaded into a participating MLS’s database; it does not give access to their database. A nominal fee is charged, and the fee is determined by each individual participating MLS.

 Instructions for Entering Reciprocal Listings

 

For BAREIS Members

1. Enter your listing into the BAREIS MLS database (you must have an MLS number).
2. Check the list below to see if there is a Reciprocal Agreement with the desired area.
3. Contact BAREIS data entry department at 707-575-8000 and ask BAREIS to fax, mail or e-mail you the participating reciprocal MLS’s Listing Input forms. You must completely fill out the participating MLS's input forms in order to avoid any delay in data entry. You will then need to send to BAREIS following reciprocal forms:

          a.  The participating MLS completed input forms
          b.  Payment (see the list below)
          c.  A printout of your listing from BAREIS MLS database
4.  After the completed forms have been received, BAREIS will forward them to the participating MLS with a transmittal letter.
5. The participating MLS will send you a confirmation listing printout.
6. Changes to the listing must first be made in the BAREIS MLS database. Then the participating MLS's Listing Change form needs to be sent to BAREIS data entry department.

For Non-Members

1. Enter your listing into your own MLS database (you must have an MLS number).
2. Check the list below to see if your MLS participates in the California Master MLS Reciprocal Agreement.
3. Contact your MLS and let them know that you’d like to have a reciprocal listing entered into the BAREIS MLS database. They will send you the appropriate BAREIS forms and instructions. The charge is $50 payable by check (made out to BAREIS MLS) or by Visa or MasterCard.
4. You can e-mail up to 25 property photos directly to BAREIS MLS at Alicia [at] norcalmls [dot] com or Jan [at] norcalmls [dot] com
